devon
Apparently, it wasn't Maxwell Caulfield's decision to leave Emmerdale after all... www.dailyrecord.co.uk/showbiz/television-news/2010/01/10/emmerdale-s-maxwell-caulfield-on-being-killed-off-on-the-soap-86908-21956280/ Kinda reminds me of the axing of Roman in H&A. Slade
Well the announcer practically gave away the plotline for next week and I’m a little annoyed about that. It’s disappointing too. Anyway every time Cain winds Aaron up I can’t help but laugh. Cain’s almost right anyway. I quite liked Holly’s comeback. I found it quite funny Aaron deliberately brought Holly back to his knowing Paddy would come back and interrupt them, with Holly oblivious to Aaron’s intentions. Charity was getting on my nerves the way she was acting at the factory. I thought Nikhil was spot on the way he handled her. Although not quite the same thing I really didn’t like Leyla telling Ryan what she thought about him dumping Katie considering that she effectively cheated on her boyfriend for a pair of shoes. At least he didn’t sleep with Maisie when he was going out with Katie and he was just being honest. He wasn’t in love with her. So Natasha’s moved on from suspecting that Mark is having an affair to virtually catching him in the act. I actually didn’t feel that sorry for her. I see she and Cain still make snide remarks whenever they bump into each other. Be interesting to see how Natasha approaches this.
Lesley Bee
Oh well thats the affair well and truly out of the bag, great scene with Natasha just standing there and then piping up "don't mind me" classic, then of course theres Ryan and Maisie upstairs ready to sleep together
Mrs Bishop
That Maisie is just a slapper wait till she finds out that Ryan is her half Broither ha ha I,m just wondering who the killer could be every one has a motive .
Slade
^Spoiler although considering the announcer's mentioned what's going to happen two episodes running most people probably know by now. Don’t you just love it when soaps are predictable? When Ryan told Maisie he had a free house I just knew when they went back, Mark and Faye would return and was hoping Natasha would go to confront them too and she did! I hadn’t been that excited about a soap in years. I was expecting it to be a double episode. I think Mark and Faye will try and tell Natasha they were going to end it but I don’t think there’s a snowball’s chance in hell of her believing them. Also a bit surprised Ryan and Maisie haven’t heard them yet. I suspect that the door was left open/unlocked so Natasha could simply stroll in without alerting Ryan and Maisie by knocking. Anyway, I’m really, really hoping that Ryan and Maisie do the business come down half-naked and all hell breaks lose. That would be brilliant, especially everybody reactions (including Ryan and Maisie’s). I’m kinda glad Adam’s given up on Aaron and Holly. I really don’t think there’s much he can do. Just pick up the pieces I guess. Getting increasingly fed up and tired of sour face, sorry Nicola. Someone get rid of her already!
I Love Mark Furze
Has anyone tried writing to any cast recently? Does anyone know any agent/management addresses for any of them? I've written to a few over several months (a couple more than once) to two different publicised addresses and never had any word back from any of them, which is really frustrating, waste of time and the cost of a stamp to be quite honest. All i ask is for a personally signed fan card, it's not too much, if it wasn't for us fans none of them would even be there in the first place so i think the least they can do with their time in the green room is have a little look through their fan mail. I'm after cards of Adam Thomas, Charlotte Bellamy, Danny Miller, James Thornton, John Middleton, Natalie J. Robb, Sian Reeves and Sophie Powles. I paticularly like Laurel and Aaron, my favourites. I even wrote to Paula Wilcox when she was in it and got nothing back and i've been wanting a contact address for her for some time, ever since i got sky and discovered Man About the House in fact, so if anyone can help i'd be most grateful. devon
Emmerdale, apart form Cain/Charity (yawn), was great last night. The Mark Wylde exit scenes were gripping and well acted. I wish they weren't killing him off and not leaving the door open for his character to, one-day, return to the show
Slade
I thought the Cain/Charity stuff was quite boring too and more scenes with Nicola (yawn). The stuff with the Wyldes was ok but I thought it was a bit of a cop out with Ryan and Maisie. They should have slept together. I did enjoy the scenes with Natasha/Faye/Mark but when Maisie and Ryan came down it felt like a bit of an anti-climax. See, if they came down half-naked it would have been like dropping the H-bomb. Anyway tonight should be good. There are two episodes so at least we get to see the fallout properly although admittedly Nathan and Will are the only other people that are important who don’t know. Red Ranger 1
Wasn't that keen on the Cain/Charity stuff but the ending did make me laugh. The stuff with the Wyldes...I wouldn't go so far as to say it was a disappointment but I would say it felt incomplete. It was rattling along nicely and then it just...stopped.Might have been better to focus a whole episode on it since there wasn't any real cliffhanger or climax.Since today's episode we see who kills Mark, my personal thoughts...Nathan and Natasha can both be fairly ruthless but that possibly makes them too obvious, Maisie I can't really see, Ryan's a fairly passive aggressive character and might do it at a push, Faye's a bit of a wild card so I think she's probably the most likely. But I wouldn't be surprised by any of them. devon
Wasn't that keen on the Cain/Charity stuff but the ending did make me laugh. Yeah, that dialogue between Cain and Carl... Carl: Ugh, you don't know where she's (Charity) been! Cain: I know wheres she going... I like Charity and Cain - just not so much when they're together. It doesn't seem so believable - this time round. Contrived, even.
