-Kevin- Posted January 14, 2010 Report Posted January 14, 2010 NO WAY!!!!!!!! I sooooo cant believe that Natasha just killed Mark I haven't had such a shock from a soap like I just have in ages. I really and truly didn't see that coming. Sorry I am just shocked to the core Quote
devon Posted January 14, 2010 Report Posted January 14, 2010 (edited) Gotta say, tonight's episodes were the best soap episodes I've seen in a long time. They're miles ahead of the rest at pulling off these pivotal episodes. I'm sooooooooo gonna miss Mark and his endearingly bumbling spinelessness. In contrast, Eastenders, and that stupid wind cliche, was rubbish. Edited January 14, 2010 by devon Quote
irish_angel Posted January 15, 2010 Report Posted January 15, 2010 If i hadn't read that he was to be murdered beforehand i would have thought he'd done away with himself when Natasha found him slumped at the foot of that tree. I was full sure it would be Nathan or Maisie who would kill him but i'm glad it turned out to be Natasha. I wonder how they're going to cover it up now. Although i guess she could bury him in the woods and the letter he left could pass off as a suicide note and she could tell the police he left the letter and just disappeared. Quote
Red Ranger 1 Posted January 15, 2010 Report Posted January 15, 2010 If you haven't seen the episode, doesn't read this, don't read Kevin's post at the top of the page and, um, don't come in this thread. It was Natasha. Not really all that surprised, glad it was her because I don't like her although this is Emmerdale so I'm not expecting her to go to jail any time soon. She did strike me as incredibly sanctimonious in that episode:She was just as much to blame for the situation as Faye but she seemed to think she was above it all.I did actually think Maisie might do it for a while because she seemed seriously out of control. Then I thought they might pull a fast one on us and have him top himself. When they had that final showdown between him and Natasha, it was fairly certain one of them was going to do it;I thought that maybe the gun might go off by accident as she handed it to him but no, it was cold-blooded murder.Looked as though all the others were actually with each other at the time so they've all got an alibi. Slade Posted January 15, 2010 Report Posted January 15, 2010 OK the fallout episodes were a lot better mainly because most of the time was devoted to the Wyldes. This shows how clueless I am. I just assumed when I heard Mark was going to be murdered we would just hear a gunshot and see his body lying there but they wouldn’t actually show who did it. I can see Ryan being a prime suspect as he punched him earlier on and told him he hated him the episode shown the day before. Maisie and Nathan definitely have an alibi but can we be sure that Ryan and Faye do? I don’t know how much time elapsed from when Faye got in the car with Ryan to when she went back home. One thing I liked was in typical soap fashion half the village heard what went on and now know the truth. I couldn’t help but feel sorry for Katie she was just being so nice to Ryan and will be absolutely devastated when she finds out the truth. The murder aside I really did not like Natasha in that episode anyway. I hated the way she told Ryan to stay away from Maisie. And there was the part where she went for Faye beforehand. I thought Mark was weak and gutless but in spite of that I don’t think he was a bad person and he loved ALL his children. It was pretty obvious Natasha wore the trousers in that relationship so I’m not surprised Mark wanted out initially. Thing is if she really wanted to get rid of him rather than kill him would it have not been easier to simply walk into the police station and report him for bigamy? Quote
devon Posted January 15, 2010 Report Posted January 15, 2010 (edited) Poor Will - that scene with him and Natasha where he blurted out that he were Mark/Daniel's only friend was heart-breaking. Damn, I'm already missing Mark and his unique woodenness... Spode looks as though her head is about to explode! Has she ever heard of Senokot?! Edited January 15, 2010 by devon Quote

Emmerdale is really good at the moment, but she is kind of ruining it for me. She is such a ridiculous character in amongst all the great drama. Quote
devon Posted January 20, 2010 Report Posted January 20, 2010 That Ashley running over Spode scene was really really freaky. And her face, just before he splatted her, looked totally demented. Quote
