Red Ranger 1
Yeah, I was watching that last episode and thinking that they weren't even trying to hide the fact Charley was pregnant, she's obviously put on a lot of weight recently. Not surprised Charity didn't marry Cain, I'm astonished he ever thought she'd go for it.Eli waiting for the penny to drop about what was going on was a nice moment.Aaron's probably on a hiding to nothing with Victoria, she only went out with him in the first place to make Daz jealous. Then again, she did make a point of bringing it up the next day... It does seem as though Thomas and Anya are making convenient scapegoats for what's going on.(And if you don't want to know who's really behind it...avert your eyes from the closing credits.)Glad Carl is sticking up for them, although Nicola might have a point about him overindulging them.Couple of top comedy moments with Jimmy's considered "Yes" when Nicola asked him if he was just going to sit there while Carl had a go at her and Sandy's plaintive "Can't I go with Laurel?" when asked to team up with Edna. Slade
I really liked Carl sticking up for Anya and Thomas especially considering how stern he was with them the night before. At least he’s showing some sort of maternal side. Anya’s so cute and I can’t help but feel sorry for her because she always looks so sad. I can’t really blame Edna for being annoyed with them and even Laurel so a certain extent but it just annoyed me how smug Laurel was about Carl’s kids when she wanted Carl to pay for the flowers. It’s pretty obvious Thomas and Anya weren’t behind it or the disappearance of Edna’s dog. Even without looking at the closing credits even I knew who was behind it. I thought that person slipped off to easily before. For a minute there I actually thought Charity was going to go through with it so I’m glad she saw sense and decided not to marry Cain. I suppose it will be interesting to see Cain and Charity function under the same roof without Debbie to act as the peacemaker (even though I’m not particularly looking forward to it). They can live like a married couple without actually being married.
Red Ranger 1
I have to say, even though I like her, I am quite glad Lisa went to jail:She did punch a police officer, after all, and two months isn't a particularly harsh sentence.I really thought they missed a trick by not showing Nicole's reaction when Chas turned up at the house with Shadrach, that would have been a picture. She thought she had it bad before... Slade
I’m so sick and tired of Thomas and Anaya getting the blame for everything although I found certain parts of that episode quite funny. There was Carl’s enjoyment at Nicola going into the bathroom and finding Shadrack naked (incidentally I’m wondering if the only reason he’s tolerating Shadrack is because his presence winds Nicola up). Also when Nicola had a go at Thomas and Anaya for doing absolutely nothing then there was her argument with Carl at the end and her refusal to move out of Carl’s house. I think it was a good idea Olena moving out because Zak admitted that he blamed her for Lisa being in jail. I still think part of him thinks she was stringing Sam along too. Tonight’s the double episode so hopefully the stuff with Sally, Ashley and Laurel etc will all come to a head.
Lesley Bee
I think it was a good idea Olena moving out because Zak admitted that he blamed her for Lisa being in jail. I still think part of him thinks she was stringing Sam along too. Ive been thinking that for a while, he knows how sam feels about her and he resents her for stringing him along. Well Sally is finally back, and looking more deranged than ever (if thats possible ) tonights double ep should be good, what wish Laurel away i think Sally will make her move on Ashley. Slade
^I know Sally was great last night. Laurel annoyed me again when she went up to Carl and insinuated his kids were ringing the church bell without a shred of proof. I getting pretty tired of her now and am actually starting to prefer Nicola to her (At least Nicola doesn’t come across a smug, she’s just sour-faced). I know Sally’s deranged, needs help and has to be stopped but before that I’m hoping she undresses gets in bed with Ashley, Laurel realises she’s forgotten something and comes home from Devon (or wherever she’s gone) to find them in bed together. Surprisingly quite enjoyed the scenes with Maisie and Zak and the way they dealt with Belle and Will for going to see Lisa at prison. Maisie’s been a lot better since she’s returned from the clinic. If she keeps this up I might even go as far as saying that I like her.
