Red Ranger 1
Even though I could sort of see why Ashley behaved the way he did, I was still shouting "Don't let her in, you stupid man!And if you do, call the police, don't sit there drinking tea with her!"Especially given the announcement afterwards, it looked as though either Sally raped him or was just about to.If that is where they're going with it, it's a very brave move and not one I was expecting at all. I like the stuff with Zak, Maisie, Belle and Will as well.Maisie taking on a parental role was surprising but nice to see.Given that the only alternatives are dead, a murderer and a weasal, she's probably the best role model he's got at the moment. Slade
I hated Chas yesterday. Hated the way Edna told her not to drop any crumbs on her workspace and she deliberately emptied the remains of her crisp packet just to spite her. Hated when she came late from her break into work then gave Jai and Nikhil attitude (although admittedly she did say she would make the time up). I never thought I’d see the day but I actually sided with and felt sympathetic towards Nicola. I wasn’t sure at first but I thought she had been making an effort for Jimmy’s sake and she actually used her day off the look after Carl’s kid so I thought it was perfectly understandable Nicola was annoyed that Anaya tried to pull a fast one. I didn’t mind Chas sticking up for Anaya but it was just so immature the way she rubbed the cake in Nicola’s face (although slightly amusing). But what annoyed me most of all was the way she decided the chuck Nicola and Jimmy out of Carl’s house, threw their things out of the window and just her general smugness. I’m really disappointed with Carl for letting her do that and not saying anything. It was obvious he didn’t agree with what she was doing and even he thought Anaya crossed the line before. And if they were going to get kicked out I wanted it to be on Carl’s terms not Chas’s. I found it interesting how when Victoria tried to talk to Aaron he seemed distant and resigned to his fate, almost like he was sure everyone was going to find out about his sexuality. That was a close call but it’s only a matter of time before the truth is revealed. Just me personally but I’m just not feeling this male assault storyline with Ashley. ~Zoe~
I'm looking forward to seeing tonights Emmerdale with the scene's between Paddy & Aaron, - think that the actor Danny Miller who plays Aaron is a great actor, plays his part well. So thats why I'm looking forward to these scenes tonight, from the adverts they've been advertising all week, the double episode looks very good. Zetti
I feel so much for Ashley. For me I think the way he acted he believed he was in the wrong but he wasnt. All he is guilty of is being kind towards Sally even after everything she has done to him and Laurel. I dont think I could be that understanding or even stand to be in the same room as her. Paddy is getting closer and closer to the truth about Aaron and the episodes will be fantastic. I can already tell especially with the trailers ITV are constantly showing. Danny Miller is such a good actor but I hope that he gets closer to this Jackson guy because I like him already such a normal guy who you wouldnt imagine is gay, there is nothing wrong with people automatically knowing that you are gay just by looking at you but for Aaron I think that it would be easier in the long run if the guy he might end up with just looks like an everyday guy with a routine job which I think is a builder?? Anyways I miss Priya. I dont know why when I hated her on the screen but I do, she and Eli made me smile. By the way is it just me or does anyone prefer Olena and Eli rather than Sam with Olena? Olena seems to suit Eli and I think they will end up together sooner or later... Chas and Nicola. I am with Slade on this one. Chas was really vindictive. Nicola gave up her day off (which are ten a penny... trust me I know) to look after Anya when she needed it and then worries when she runs off. She for me has a real maternal instinct and how cute was Angelica peeking out of her pram or crib or whatever to look at Jimmy made me heart melt Thats enough dissecting now.. I want to see more of Val and Eric.. they seem to have disappeared as well as David and Leyla...

Danny Miller is such a good actor ^ I agree with what you said about the scenes with Paddy and Aaron tonight... they were great to watch, some great acting from both Dominic Brunt & Danny Miller - Danny is a very good actor, for someone who is 19. Great scene's they were!
Slade
Absolutely disgusted with Aaron. He’s nothing but a violent thug. I can’t believe I’ve defended him in the past. After everything Paddy’s done for him and he treats him like that, uses him as a punchbag. Paddy must have saint tattooed across his forehead. It’s funny because I had been feeling quite sympathetic towards Aaron especially after the last week struggling to cope with his sexuality but that went completely out the window and Paddy was the one who I felt sorry for. In fact I really felt for him. In spite of everything still told Aaron that he loved him and appeared devastated when Aaron left. I think Aaron actually did the right thing walking out. Paddy deserves better. I do agree it was good acting all round though. I’m getting a little tired of this Sam and Olena thing. His proposal was worse than Cain arranging a wedding behind Charity’s back and expecting Charity to go through with it just like that. I really wished Olena had been more stern with Sam because it’s pretty obvious diplomacy isn’t going to work. In saying that she’s pretty much in a lose/lose situation now. If she tells him where to go, she’s being cruel and not taking into consideration his feelings, if she doesn’t she’s stringing him along. I wasn’t sure whether Maisie was drunk or whether she was actually on something. I dunno she seems to have gotten herself together as of late and hasn’t done a single thing to make me actively dislike her. I think it was a shame they didn’t give Priya better material. I thought with a good storyline she had the potential to become a decent character.
DinerLandlord
I'm both angry and sympathetic towards Aaron. What he did to Paddy was disgusting, and Paddy must be a saint for being so kind and forgiving. I do feel bad for Aaron though, he's terrified and weak, which is why he did that to Paddy. Slade
I was expecting quite a boring episode tonight but I’m glad I was wrong. As soon as Nicola went up to Holly I knew she was going to comment on her listening in on Maisie and Natasha’s conversation. Talk about the pot calling the kettle black. I’m glad Nicola told Natasha to speak to Holly. She’s another person that’s been annoying as of late and her attitude stinks. For instance I thought she was out of order the way she spoke to Brenda yesterday. Also the way she was acting when John and Moira confronted her about giving Maisie the drugs and it was like nothing to her. Water off a duck’s back. I didn’t have any sympathy for her whatsoever when Natasha fired her. I thought she was very lucky Natasha didn’t go to the police TBH. I think the main thing stopping Natasha was the fact that she doesn’t want any dealings with them because she murdered her husband. Kind of ironic Holly was dealing/doing drugs when yesterday Paddy thought she might know if Aaron was and quizzed her about it. Quite liked the stuff with Cain and Sam and the way Cain was sort of looking out for him. I think a lot of people are being too diplomatic with Sam. They have to be direct even if it means hurting his feelings. I just think he’s making a fool of himself. I really liked the way Marlon told Chas about Aaron and the look of horror on Chas’s face at the realisation of what her son did to someone who showed him nothing but kindness. Paddy still hasn’t given up on him. Can’t wait to see Chas’s reaction when she finds out Aaron’s gay.
Red Ranger 1
I'm in two minds about Aaron.Part of me can't believe that Paddy is continuing to support him, the other part can see why he is.He's both a very troubled teen who needs help and a walking time bomb who needs to be sealed in a concrete bunker thirty miles below the surface.I'm really not sure that Paddy will be able to cope with him and turning him over to the police actually seems like a good option, for everyone else's sake rather than his. Although I'm not too happy with Holly at the moment, I'm even less happy with Natasha.Ironically, drug taking aside, Maisie actually seems pretty together at the moment.Natasha, on the other hand, is making a mess of everything and slowly destroying her life and her family whilst still pretending she's Mrs.Unflappable.
