DinerLandlord
I'm really glad they are going down the attempted suicide route. I don't think it's been done with this type of storyline yet, and with Aaron it makes a lot of sense. I don't mean trying to kill yourself makes sense, that doesn't make any sense, but I mean it is realistic that he would do that.
~Zoe~
Yeah I am glad they are doing that too. Imagine hating who you are so much that you turn to suicide.I'm liking the storyline for the simple fact it's Aaron's conflicting emotions that are pushing the drama along, whilst also staying true to the character. I am looking forward to all of this happening in the up coming episodes in the next two weeks, I think Danny Miller will pull the suicide attempt story off well as I thought he did a fantastic job in that episode when he told Paddy, what was really wrong with him after he had beaten him up. Thought that was such a good episode with Danny & Dominic, especially that scene at the end when Paddy said that he's like a son to him, then Aaron hugged him. Great acting from the both of them. So yeah, good stuff coming up with this storyline. Edited March 30, 2010 by ~Zoe~
Zetti
The Aaron storyline is one that I cant wait for it to play out mainly because it seems to be so interesting and desirable to watch for me because I have no idea where its headed. ~Zoe~
^ Yeah thats why I've been watching Emmerdale a lot, for this storyline with Aaron. With whats coming up for him in the next few weeks sounds intresting and brilliant, and I'm sure Danny will be able to pull it off, great actor for someone who is 19. Zetti
^ Yep. He was fantastic with Dominic revealing who he is and now I want to see more of him and Chas because its a waste of time not having them bounce off each other
Slade
There seemed to be quite a bit happening yesterday. Firstly Holly I’m just finding increasingly annoying now. Just her attitude, the fact that she’s always looks sour-faced (has she been taking a leaf out of Nicola’s book) and doesn’t really seem to care what her parents think about her behaviour. Was it me or was Victoria texting Daz when Andy was asking her who she was going out with on her Birthday? I was glad Chas went to the police regarding Aaron. It’s a shame Paddy covered for him again and not one bit of gratitude expressed by Aaron either. Still can’t wait to see her reaction when she finds out. Considering that Aaron cut Carl’s brakes a while back I’m surprised Carl isn’t completely condemning him like I thought he would. So people have already started gossiping about the fact the Paddy was mugged. I would have liked to have seen Marlon in that scene in the Café to see how he acted towards Chas when she overheard Jamie and Gen’s conversation. This storyline with Ashley is slightly improving now that we are seeing the after effects of the assault. Again only a matter of time before Laurel finds out. He can’t keep quiet about this forever. Zetti
Yes Slade, Victoria was texting Daz. I missed the last 10 mins due to a power cut. Could someone tell me what happened?
Mrs Bishop
Chas going to the police made it worse as Paddy had promised Arron know one else would find out about his sexuality, so Chas could have got Paddy killed if he hadnt steped in quickly, Ashley is going through a torment as he cant remember what happened but soon i think Laurel gets to know and all hell breaks loose. Hollly Barton why oh why are they letting her get away with this drug thing her attitude thats its not5 harmful is not the way to go surley they should be much harder on her. DinerLandlord
Both the Barton girls are so irritating. The actresses are dreadful! Holly has the voice of a 5-year-old! Every time she has a converstaion with Maisie, who is supposed to be her new best friend, it sounds as if Holly is an irritaing child that Maisie has to babysit. As for the younger sister - whose name I neither know nor care about - that girl cannot act to save her life! It's as if she is reading all her lines of a cue card! "Victoria. invited. me. out. this. evening." God she's dreadful. I don't understand the Bartons at all. Why is a woman who is clearly only about 30 playing the mother of a bunch of teenagers? Why is Holly portrayed as the eldest child when Adam looks years older than her? Are Adam and Holly twins? Why is the father so sexy? (Okay that last question is kind of irrelevant). Mrs Bishop
Ha ha yes i have to agree John Barton is very sexy why is he not a play boy instead of a farmer, yesh thoes two girls are very irritating i could do with out them beuing in Emmerdale. Whats Laurel going to do seen a clip of Laurel trying to tip Sally ovwer the balcony of the flat she is living in after finding photoes of Ashley on the wall i will wait with baited breath.
