Also this is going to sound REALLY stupid but bear with me...im new to avater making!!! Do you use Photoshop to make this (is that what PS7 is?) and if so where do you get it from...do you buy it or is it downloadable on the internet??

Yes, PS7 stands for Photoshop 7.0. You can download it at Limewire.

If you dont have limewire here you go http://www.limewire.com. Then just download from there.
