The H&A school dresses are horrible... scarily short and just... not nice. Why any school would want that sort of uniform is beyond me (apologies if it's a common Aussie thing...). Ghastly. Imo. Although I imagine the school hasn't cxopied the dresses exactly. And no, the SBH pupils don't seem to wear blazers... as far as I recall, they just wear shirt/tie or a dress. To reflect the perfect Aussie weather. I don't think a Scottish school could pull off the shirt-look all year around.

I'm not quite sure what Claire means about boys in Scottish schools not being able to do the shirt and tie all year round. That's what I always wore to school and if it was raining I'd wear a jacket just as I suspect they would in Summer Bay.

Destiny Posted August 22, 2005 Report Posted August 22, 2005 Scottish influence in Australian history would be my guess for the tartan inspired uniforms (I mean look at the uniforms of Summer Bay and Neighbours - they are almost identical barring the winter uniform - Summer Bay doesn't have one I don't think but then Summer Bay doesn't have winter). Do any of you guys remember when Kit started wearing the boys' uniforms. Was it Hyde or Fisher that objected to it? I think more girls on HAA should be rebellious like that - preferably Maddy.
