Dan F Posted April 17, 2006 Report Posted April 17, 2006 Ah you're forgetting about the Medieval Wedding pic - that was our first sight of you!
Si-Co Posted April 17, 2006 Report Posted April 17, 2006 The changing face of Si-Co: An 'on-topic' picture to start - I was 11 and about to start 'the big school' (ie. terrified): A year or so later, looking like a right cheeky chappy: Aged 17 (look how thin my face was!): Aged 20, my student days when it was cool to be a scruffy, long-haired layabout: A year later, I'd cleaned up my act (oh, good old GM Buses!): "Mirror, mirror on the wall, lose the stubble or grow it all?" (aged 21): Same era, and indulging in two of my favourite pastimes (taken at the Admiral Rodney in Wollaton, by the way, Dan!): I think that's enough for now, LOL!
Liz Posted April 17, 2006 Report Posted April 17, 2006 Oh, yeah! That's still hovering around somewhere... Si: You were only 17 in that pic?!

Dan F Posted April 17, 2006 Report Posted April 17, 2006 I get the feeling I've already seen a slideshow of these - I think the 20 year old student look was er.....interesting! Hmm Wollaton - can't say I frequent it myself but the grounds of the hall are nice!
TabbyCool Posted April 17, 2006 Report Posted April 17, 2006 Didn't know you were a Levellers fan Si. Do you still listen to them? I saw them in Sunderland a few weeks ago :-)
Mez83 Posted April 17, 2006 Report Posted April 17, 2006 Nice pics, Si! On a totally random note, You look just like a guy who plays basketball for a team Joe plays against sometimes!

I saw them in Sunderland a few weeks ago :-) Yes, I still listen to them, Tabby. 'Levelling the Land' in particular, but quite a lot of their other stuff too. I didn't know they were still around and touring. Was the gig mainly old stuff, or have they released new material recently?

Last one was released about a year ago. They always play a mix of old stuff and new stuff at their gigs. They have their own festival in Devon too, I'm hoping to go this year :-) Check out www.Levellers.co.uk and www.beautifuldays.org You should keep checking their website or the ticket sites, they played Newcastle Uni in December too. They do acoustic gigs too under the name "Drunk In Public" although I haven't seen any of those shows. Seen them 4 times in the last couple of years though, the first 2 times being at Glastonbury 2004 and 2005 :-)
