Emma_B Posted May 17, 2006 Report Posted May 17, 2006 Oh dear... I have asked my Mum if there is any chance one of us is adopted. She denies it! Have just found this noe of me and a VERY scary waiter who accosted me, on holiday last year. I look scared! Click I think I might be a bit addicted to this thread. Or just procrastinating... ETA: Pic came out massive!

Emma_B Posted May 17, 2006 Report Posted May 17, 2006 I was very worried about his hand, which was definitely wandering. On the plus side, though, we did get a lot of free sangria that evening!

Marieh Posted May 17, 2006 Report Posted May 17, 2006 It's really not my style, no, but I "have to" wear it sometimes.. Today was May 17, Norway's National Day where we celebrate Norway's Constitution from 1814. My niece is in her last year of Kindergarten, so she was "pink russ" - a copy of the more traditional russ phenomenon. From the wikipedia article: Only the red and the blue russ are considered "real russ" – at least in their own eyes – since the tradition started among the pupils of those types of schools. In addition, sometimes children in the last year of kindergarten call themselves "pink russ" (rosaruss). In some places, children in the last year of ungdomsskolen (roughly comparable to junior high school) become "orange russ" (oransjruss). None of these have any real relation to the russ celebrations, though. Terje is 25, but he looks young, I know. Berlevågs orangeruss (well, half of us ) Can't see me though and please remember, we had been up for nearly 36 hours..
Emma_B Posted May 17, 2006 Report Posted May 17, 2006 I don't know what he was thinking. I definitely did not ask him to have a picture with me! My camera has no battery and I have lost the wire that connects my phone and my laptop, but I do have one more normalish picture. This is me and Ben, the night before he went travelling. I miss him I am doing quite a silly grin, though, and I'm not very sure why. Click
