Yeah, I thought you'd made a type somewhere in there! I was having a look through your pics, very nice :-) I noticed one of the TUK cat skull shoes, do you have those? I have the red ones with the black cats on :-) Liz, great pic, you're really pretty :-)
MarMar Posted May 17, 2006 Report Posted May 17, 2006 I was going to get those TUK shoes, but no one has them anymore.
TabbyCool Posted May 17, 2006 Report Posted May 17, 2006 You should be able to get them from www.tukshoes.com, they ship internationally and stock loads of styles you can't get outside the USA. Well, you can only buy half the styles here, even though loads of them are made in England, they are shipped straight to the US and not even sold here! My shoes I got today were sent from America, made in England, shipped to America, sold to me and sent back here again! Makes no sense!
MarMar Posted May 17, 2006 Report Posted May 17, 2006 Nopes... no one has them in stock anymore.. tried them tried heelandsoleshoes.com, tried others... *gah* In my size, of course.
Emma_B Posted May 17, 2006 Report Posted May 17, 2006 Love the pic Liz, you are so pretty. I really like long hair on men too. My high school boyfriend had lovely shoulder-length dark hair. Dreamy...

Mar, they do a version of those shoes that are black with pink cats, they'd match your hair! They do 2 styles of the cat shoes (well, technically 3). There are the TUK ones like the ones you want, with the rubber trainer style sole, I have a pair of these and find that they are quite cheaply made and are not fantastic quality. Then there are the ones that are a sturdier style, less chunky padding and better leather. They were originally made by Tredair (the same as the shoes I just got) and are more expensive, but great quality. These are made in England and are more difficult to find. There is also an economy version of the Tredair ones, made by Anarchic, which is also part of TUK. They look just like the Tredair ones from what I can see on the photos, but they are as cheap as the standard TUK ones and look like they will be better quality and more hard-wearing.
MarMar Posted May 17, 2006 Report Posted May 17, 2006 I just didn't like the eyes on that pink cat! I got a pair of platform Mary Janes for summer instead, because no one had them in my size. Thanks, though.
