Posted April 4, 2009 Report Posted April 4, 2009 It was our school's annual athletics day (and my last ever!) so I thought, since I'm house captain, what better way to keep up the morale than by dressing up as 'Redman'! My friend - you can call him 'Yellowboy' - and I spent the whole morning turning our houses upside down looking for everything and anything that was of the same colour as our house's, then wearing it. Here's how we turned out... Lovely... You may be wondering, why was the athletics day held in a supermarket? Well, it wasn't... Before we got there, we saw a supermarket and decided to buy a cake for lunch. It wasn't until we were both inside that I remembered what we were wearing. Soooo, we took a photo with the meat section to compensate A little boy saw us and his eyes lit up. I think he thought we were superheroes. Needless to say, he was horrified when I nearly dropped the cake and said a word beginning with F and ending with uck. It was as if his dreams had been shattered into a million tiny pieces. So I flew away... Three hours later and the field activities were done. My friend and I realized that our final athletics day deserved a celebratory lunch, so we dressed for the occasion. Yes, that is a red tie... and yes, that is a cup with a red straw. We went all out! The boy is a young orphan that I found walking the hills surrounding the track. At least I thought he was an orphan until it turned out he actually went to our school and I just hadn't met him before. I love making new friends. But wait, things got better. We had a few guests join us for our lunch. That's right - Elmo and Big Bird! Notice the colours FYI, Yellowboy was taking these pics. There are more pics some place, some where - me and Yellowboy playing with Tonka trucks in a sandpit (until we realized it was actually the long jump pit ), us playing table tennis with a soccer ball, and many more. If I ever find out where they disappeared to then I'll post them here. Until then, some final words of advice - Do not run with long bedsheets tied around your neck. It DOES NOT end pleasantly... Oh dear!

Much, muchhotter. This one was taken last year on a Party Bus. They drive you around Sydney city all night and it has a smoke machine, Karaoke machine and seats removed in place of a dance floor with poles included. I'm on the right. I have no idea why it looks like I have a shoulder pad in though... And this one is more recent, me being a big poser. But in my defense.... well there is no defense, I'm just being a poser, lol. Only it came out a lot more pouty that posy. Shame.

I'm on the right at the very end, wearing the print dress. The second one is when i was in Ghana last year. The little girl painted a Scotland flag in her house for me, bless her. The last one is from last December, in a pub in Manchester with one of my good friends. I'm wearing the hat, hehe.
