Lolzi Posted January 18, 2006 Report Posted January 18, 2006 I know I got something like that but it takes like an hour to heat up and still then it doesnt work.
Kimmy Posted January 18, 2006 Report Posted January 18, 2006 Sounds like mine! Nar mine works it just leaves your hair all frizzy
starlet_girl Posted January 18, 2006 Report Posted January 18, 2006 I tried to curl my hair with straightners but it didn't really work My hairdresser did it really well, and told me exactly how to, but when I tried it didn't work! But my straightners are kinda...broken
Pierced Musie Posted January 18, 2006 Report Posted January 18, 2006 I don't use straighteners. I have a problem with heat going near my head. Sounds stupid, I know.
Drew Posted January 18, 2006 Report Posted January 18, 2006 I once burnt myself at the back of my neck, man that hurt, i have a scar there now i think lol
Ashirr-Leigh Posted January 18, 2006 Report Posted January 18, 2006 My little sister curls her hair with straighteners all the time. She says it's easy.. although she wears gloves to do it to stop her fingers getting burnt! What she does is winds a bit of hair around her finger so it's in like a little ball.. if you get me?.. then takes her finger out. Then she puts the little ball in the middle of the straighteners and leaves it for about 10/15 seconds or something. When she takes it out, it curls and looks really good. Hope that helps.. but I'm not too good on describing things!
Ms Becky Posted January 18, 2006 Report Posted January 18, 2006 With straighteners you just kind of... starting at the ends wrap the hair round them like you would with curlers, but don't leave them there. As soon as you've wrapped round you... kinda, pull down smoothly, and it should leave nice curls... My hairdresser burnt the tops of my ears three times in one go with straighteners last time I went. *grumble*
Ashirr-Leigh Posted January 18, 2006 Report Posted January 18, 2006 I can proudly say that my hair has never been touched by a hair straightener! It's not that I don't want to.. I just couldn't. I don't think it would do much for me, lol.
Ms Becky Posted January 18, 2006 Report Posted January 18, 2006 I don't straighten mine anymore, and I wasn't too good at it when I did anyway. But the little that I did was slowly starting to kill it, so figured it was time for the natural look.
