katya Posted June 12, 2006 Report Posted June 12, 2006 You'll have to let me know if it's good Merc. I think when I've finished reading White Teeth, I will move on to Lolita.
MarMar Posted June 12, 2006 Author Report Posted June 12, 2006 Hmm.. Lolita. Yes, haven't read that in about5 years now... might have to do it again soon. Will do!
Jess Posted June 12, 2006 Report Posted June 12, 2006 Can anyone recommend any good books? (I'm 16, but my reading tastes are pretty broad). I'm sick of the 'Da Vinci Code', I may come back to it over the summer....or download the audio version onto my iPod. Any recommendations?

I'd recommend Silk by Caitling Kiernan, then Threshold and Low red Moon.
Jess Posted June 12, 2006 Report Posted June 12, 2006 Oh, thanks Merc. They sound good, will check them out!
Cal Posted June 12, 2006 Report Posted June 12, 2006 I was reading The Da Vinci Code, But I gave up! It was far too complex and confusing, a shame really. I don't know what all the Hype was about.
MarMar Posted June 12, 2006 Author Report Posted June 12, 2006 I thought the Da Vinci code was too easy..
Cal Posted June 12, 2006 Report Posted June 12, 2006 I thought the Da Vinci code was too easy.. Well, I am blonde!
