xGlowingAngelx Posted February 16, 2008 Report Posted February 16, 2008 I finally started reading a new book yesterday. 'Second Glance' by Jodi Picoult (Obviously). Having spent the last few months trying, and failing to read 'Nineteen Minutes' (Also by Jodi), I figured I'd give SG a chance. And I have to say, it's shaping up to be great. Granted, I'm not far into it, but from what I have read it looks set to be another hit. Hopfully I'll stick with it, instead of randomly stopping for months.
Kris10na Posted February 17, 2008 Report Posted February 17, 2008 I'm reading "Beatles" written by the Norwegian author Lars Saabye Christensen. It's about four boys growing up in the capital of Norway during the 60's and these boys are really addicted to The Beatles. We follow them when they are from 12 years old and now they're just turned 19/20 years!
Mez83 Posted February 17, 2008 Report Posted February 17, 2008 I'm reading Dragonfly in Amber by Diana Gabaldon. I love the whole series. It's fantastic.

Barbara Posted February 17, 2008 Report Posted February 17, 2008 I finished reading Silent Night by Mary Higgins Clark. I always enjoy reading her novels.
Luc Posted February 18, 2008 Report Posted February 18, 2008 I'm reading 'To Kill a Mockingbird' by Harper Lee, i had to read it for school a few years back, and instantley fell in love with it, i've read it over and over.
emmasi Posted February 18, 2008 Report Posted February 18, 2008 I also had to read that for school, but I never finished it... I really didn't like it. At the moment I'm reading "Unicorn Mountain." It's mostly about a chick running a ranch in Colorado, and having to take care of a gay cousin (who she barely knows) who has AIDS. And there's an Indian ranch hand who wants to meet his daughter, but he's scared that she'll hate him for being away most of her life. I picked it up thinking it was just gonna be about unicorns, but there is so much more to it. Plus there are unicorns
valli Posted February 18, 2008 Report Posted February 18, 2008 I'm currently reading The mysterious mr. Quin by Agatha Christie. I haven't really gotten into it yet, so I find rather boring at the moment. Hopefully it'll get better. And I'm also reading Jenta som lekte med ilden by Stieg Larson. Since my parents are divorced, I read one book when I am at my mom's place and one when I am at my dad's

I haven't really gotten into it yet, so I find rather boring at the moment. Hopefully it'll get better. I usually enjoy Agatha Christie's novels but sometimes it takes a while before I get into it. But then it gets better after a chapter or two. I don't think I've read that one.
Luc Posted February 21, 2008 Report Posted February 21, 2008 I've finished To Kill A Mocking Bird, and, finally, after months of reading books smashed full of drama (The Catcher In The Rye, Montana 1948), i'v decided to read a bit of drivel that i really just love to hate... I'm Free - The Complete Are You Being Served by Wendy Richard, Joanna Lumley, David Croft and Jeremy Lloyd
