Pierced Musie Posted September 19, 2008 Report Posted September 19, 2008 Need some help for English Literature... Can anyone recommend some good 20th Century short stories?
Formerly Known as FKAJ Posted September 20, 2008 Report Posted September 20, 2008 I'm in the middle of reading Wuthering Heights, Middlemarch and the Woman in White.
claire_louise Posted September 20, 2008 Report Posted September 20, 2008 Need some help for English Literature... Can anyone recommend some good 20th Century short stories? Try Katherine Mansfield? I'm doing them for uni this year and they're not easy, but definitely interesting.
Formerly Known as FKAJ Posted September 21, 2008 Report Posted September 21, 2008 I'm currently listening to an audio book of Cecily Van Ziegesar's "All I Want is Everything." The narrator is getting less annoying, but the book's a bit disappointing because I liked Dan and Serena.
x__briiahh Posted September 21, 2008 Report Posted September 21, 2008 I'm reading Book 2 of the Roman Mysteries "The Secret of Vesuvius". I just finished it this morning. I love the series. I'll probably read Book 7 now "The Enemies of Jupiter" I haven't read that one for ages.

I love music Posted September 21, 2008 Report Posted September 21, 2008 My friend has just lent me another Jodi Picoult book "The Pact." Started reading it yesterday and already I'm engrossed.
Cerise Posted September 21, 2008 Report Posted September 21, 2008 The pact is beautiful, ILM, it's one of my favourites God knows why but I'm re-reading Breaking Dawn - again. I don't think I can live through the demon child a third time though, but we'll see how we go.
Taniya_K Posted September 21, 2008 Report Posted September 21, 2008 Am re-reading the Twilight series again! Am on BD. Hopefully will get it finished again before tomorrow when my uni starts lol! It's really addictive...
