Pierced Musie Posted September 29, 2008 Report Posted September 29, 2008 Still reading The Beach by Alex Garland. I want to finish this book by the end of this week but it depends on how much homework I get from English Lit. Has anyone read The Wasp Factory?
OzSoapie Posted September 29, 2008 Report Posted September 29, 2008 I'm sure a lot of people have said this but i've been re-reading the Twilight series (Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse, Breaking Dawn) just to refresh my memory for the movie coming out soon. But now I have to read a bunch of texts for uni, so no fun reads for me anymore.
Guest Posted September 29, 2008 Report Posted September 29, 2008 New Moon but I've almost finished it
Barbara Posted September 29, 2008 Report Posted September 29, 2008 Barbara, are you reading it in English or in Dutch? Can we buy the Twilight series here in Belgium? I'm reading the first one in French. I've already bought the second book, New Moon, in English. In Belgium you can buy the Twilight series in English and in French. I've never seen the books in Dutch though. If you don't know where to find them in English, just PM me.
Cerise Posted September 29, 2008 Report Posted September 29, 2008 Re-reading Eclipse, almost finished. Thsi part rips me up, I don't think I have the strength to read on.
KaiyaBlake Posted October 1, 2008 Report Posted October 1, 2008 I'm reading Damaged by Cathy Glass. It's such a sad book! Anyone read it?
x__briiahh Posted October 1, 2008 Report Posted October 1, 2008 ^ No I haven't. I'm reading the Scribes From Alexandria. The 15th book in the Roman Mysteries series. I've read all 15 of them and own all of them including a signed copy of one of the smaller books in between the bigger ones called "The Code of Romulous" and "Trimalchio's Feast" which is all of the smaller books put together. Comfusing, haha. I emailed the author, Caroline Lawrence, and she asked for my address and she sent me a signed copy of "the Code of Romulous"
Dan F Posted October 4, 2008 Report Posted October 4, 2008 Still reading 'Playing with Fire' by Gordon Ramsay, the follow up to his Autobiography which is more focussed on the business side of things - but I've also now got Julie Walters' and Dawn French's Autobiographies to read.
Cerise Posted October 4, 2008 Report Posted October 4, 2008 Okay, now I'm re-reading Twilight. WHy am I re-reading the series backwards? Idk. I'm also about to start reading The Host.
