Cerise Posted October 11, 2008 Report Posted October 11, 2008 Isn't that over 200 books ! *bows to Cerise* I wish I had kept my Goosebumps collection. I remember owning a snazzy Point Horror 3 story book that was blue. One of the stories was actually quite sad, with a stone boy (maybe wrong?!) What can I say? I was a weird kid I still read Goosebumps. I just think they're so cool. Am now feeling very nostalgic... And don't say they weren't, but the show WAS scary. They're all on Youtube.
valli Posted October 11, 2008 Report Posted October 11, 2008 Oh, I used to love Goosebumps I think I've read almost all of them But now I've forgotten which ones I've actually read, so I usually end up reading a book twice I've just finished The Hunger Games. It was quite good, but a bit too predictable. I still enjoyed it Now I'm going to start on The Host.
darlingg Posted October 11, 2008 Report Posted October 11, 2008 I just finished reading nineteen minutes by Jodi Picoult. Great book!!
-Kevin- Posted October 11, 2008 Report Posted October 11, 2008 Right now im readin dead famous which is a must for any Big Brother fan.
Lise Posted October 11, 2008 Report Posted October 11, 2008 Can't say I read a lot but the last book I read was "Night" by Elie Weisel. He survived the concentration camps in WW2 so if you have any interest that period of history I would definitely read it!
whispered_envy Posted October 13, 2008 Report Posted October 13, 2008 I'm reading Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and Through The Looking Glass- I thought I should probably read the book, seeing as I never have before! I must say, I'm wondering if Lewis Carroll was on something when he wrote it...
Pierced Musie Posted October 13, 2008 Report Posted October 13, 2008 I read Wonderland but stopped at Looking Glass. A catapillar? Smoking a bong?
carmelle Posted October 14, 2008 Report Posted October 14, 2008 Just started to read The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald. Not too sure what to make of it just yet...
Pierced Musie Posted October 15, 2008 Report Posted October 15, 2008 I went to a charity shop that is just for books, videos and music. For $7.50 I managed to get: Selected Stories of H.G. Wells (Includes The Time Machine) Call of the Wild, White Fang and Other Stories by Jack London The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald The God of Small Things by Arundhati Roy ... And another book that escapes me ! Plus I found my printed list of that Gilmore Girls' reading list thingie and managed to find online copies of some of the classics (something about copyright being up therefore legally put on the web) I have so many books on my shelf. PLUS I just found out what novel we are reading for English Literature but I ain't sure of it. If anyone has read The Child in Time by Ian McEwan could you please tell me.
