Clare had been in the bay for 2 days and so far all that she had seen of the town was the road in as well as the inside of her house so she decided to take a brake from packing and take a walk around town to get an idea of were everything was.

After walking for about 45 minutes Clare walked past the diner and decided to go in at and the door she walked right into Dan who was coming at the other way. Clare could not believe it she never expected to see either of the baker brothers again. Dan was in as much shock as she was but he was also angry he couldn’t believe she was here in the bay after everything she had put peter through.

Although he had wanted to go up to her and tell her to leave before she hurt peter again he couldn’t because he was already later for work and Barry was in a bad enough mood as it was. So Clare was left alone to think about everything that had happened. Seeing Dan again had brought it all flooding back, memories, things she had been trying to forget for the last 6 years.

she had been dating peter baker (Dan’s big brother) for 4 years and she had thought they would be together for ever then 6 days before they were meant to be getting married her whole world fell apart.

she had finished work early and decided to go home and surprise peter but when she got there she couldn’t find him so she decided to get changed before going looking for him and that was when she saw them, peter and Amanda vile (Dan’s girlfriend) were in her (and Peter’s) bed asleep at that moment but Clare now exactly what they had been doing.
