beaus_babe04 Posted November 30, 2005 Report Posted November 30, 2005 Unfortunately, it wasn't announced here in Britain, well not that i know of, which is quite a shame, since this is meant to be the 2nd biggest country for Home and Away viewing. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> It was in the Daily Mail the same day Penny and Rod's baby was announced. There was an article underneath it.
Ryan Posted November 30, 2005 Report Posted November 30, 2005 We are sailing, we are sailing, stormy waters, to be near. I remember watching a TV programme, about holidays, no, wait that was Peter Stringfellow.
Andy Posted December 1, 2005 Report Posted December 1, 2005 Em's on list for Lleyton Sydney Confidential Daily Telegraph 1 December 2005 IT was a quiet day on the set of the Bec and Lleyton soapie yesterday, with no sign of Mum, Dad or baby. But the suggestion of a name for the million-dollar baby girl has emerged. While the couple had a "gut feeling" the child would be a boy -- and had settled on the name Cody -- they weren't as prepared for a name for a girl. And while fans have had their say on a name -- Rackett, Carmon, Roger, Troylene, Beau and Kim -- Confidential hears the couple are considering calling their daughter Emily. Emily tops the list of the most popular Australian girls' names, and the couple would be following the lead of 621 parents in the past year. The baby's name is expected to be released in Woman's Day, which has paid in excess of $1 million for the exclusive story and pictures. But fans will have to wait some 10 days for the official pictures, with the magazine yet to take the photos of the child and next week's issue already off to the printers. "We want to give them a bit of breathing space and do the photos in a relaxed environment," said Woman's Day editor Alana House. Confidential hears that the couple made several demands in their million dollar-plus contract, which leaves Woman's Day with little access. Half the media camped outside the Royal North Shore Private Hospital on the day of the birth had given up yesterday, with only a dozen remaining. Hewitt has not moved from the hospital since the birth.
Paris Posted December 1, 2005 Report Posted December 1, 2005 I don't think Womans day are getting their moneys worth from this deal. How many "weekly" articles has Bec written so far? All this Bec and Lleyton mania is getting stupid.
claire_louise Posted December 1, 2005 Report Posted December 1, 2005 I can't believe they won't even release the name until the bloody magazine comes out.
Soph Posted December 1, 2005 Report Posted December 1, 2005 I can't believe they won't even release the name until the bloody magazine comes out. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> It could beone of the terms of the contract that Woman's Weekly made.... I like Cody as a girls name - it's unique
Penny.Lane Posted December 2, 2005 Report Posted December 2, 2005 There was once a girl named Cody in Neighbours. I don't like that name at all. Maybe they should call her Hayley...Hayley Hewitt has a nice ring to it!
The Cure Posted December 2, 2005 Report Posted December 2, 2005 Oh! They should definitely call her Emily! She would be in some good company with a name like that..... I will have a newfound respect for them if they do... Cody for a girl is... ....it isn't even nice for a boy. Yes, go with Emily then.
Guevara01 Posted December 3, 2005 Report Posted December 3, 2005 Has the baby's name actually been released yet? x
