Cassie asked "Dunno-but I said i'd meet up with Callum later" Ric said "What!" Cassie laughed "Don't say yous two are getting on-what brought this about?" "We just had a talk thats all" Ric said "Thats all?" Cassie said raising her eyebrows "I thought you wanted us to get on?" Ric said Cassie didn't know how to answer so she instead kissed Ric. Callum was sitting alone on the beach wondering what to do. He had no money, no job and he knew how sinister kenny could be. He felt he should of expected this, after all something bad always seemed to happen to him. "Searching in the sand" Kennys voice said, "Now I doubt you'll find my money there" "So your staying in the area?" Callum asked, dreading the answer. "Aren't you clever" Kenny replied, he knelt down next to Callum and added in a whisper, "But your not clever enough-because if you were you'd being doing more to get money." "I need a job.." Callum begun "And I need my money -its your choice really. Pay me back with cash" Kenny pulled a knife from his pocket and admired it for a moment, "Or your blood" He ran the knife gently down callums arm before standing back up. "Its always a pleasure to see you Callum" He said. Kenny left Callum even more alone and ratteled than before. "YOUUUUUUU WHAT!" Screeched Colleen "I've offered Scott Phillips a job here until he can find something more permanent" Alf said, "And if you don't like it Colleen its tough because you need the help" Colleen scowled. She disliked the very idea of being in the same room as scott phillips never mind working with him. Danni paced her hotel room anxiously. Then the thing she was waiting for happened. Stafford rung. "Its so good to hear your voice" Danni said down the phone "What have you found out" Danni listened to Staffords findings in shock expecially when he said the name Josh West. Nobody answered but Danni saw the curtains twitch so she screeched, "I KNOW WHAT YOUR UP TO! I KNOW ABOUT JOSH WEST" Rhys openned the door and said simply, "The police are coming-I advise you to get off my property now." Danni scowled as the door slammed in her face and decided that her best option was to confide her findings in Kirtsy. "Is something up bro, you seem a bit tense" Kane asked as Callum sat looking through newspapers for jobs. "I just need a job-some money in ym pocket you know.." Callum said "Well we could always do with someone at the bar-you now during the day when we serve juice-I doubt Alf will let anyone underage work with the alcohol" Kane said "The bar" Callum questioned, " No, its a nice offer but no, not the bar." "Are you sure your alright?" Kane asked "Fine-You better serve them they look impatient" Callum said. Callum threw the paper aside and left the bar, hopeing he didn't run into Kenny on his way back to the caravan park. "Do you have a propbelm Colleen?" Scott asked, "Only I get put off when people stare at me" Colleen screwed up her face and openned the cupboard. "I KNEW IT!" She screeched "I KNEW YOUR NOTHING MORE THAN A COMMON THEIF" At that moment Morag walked in and snapped "What are you on about woman?" "HIM" Colleen Shouted at Scott "What have I supposedly done?" Scott asked bitterly. "YOU'VE STOLE THEM!" Colleen shouted Morag looked from Scott to Colleen and asked irritedly "Stole what?" "The baked beans!" Colleen said stupidly " I knew he couldn't be trusted" Scott burst out laughing as Morag shouted "You stupid fool the baked beans are on the bench where you no doubt left them. Baked beans-Honestly Colleen I often wonder if you have any brain cells" Morag went up to the flat leaving Scott in fits of laughter and Colleen in a fowl mood. Dan was feeling lonely and guilty. Not only had Leah gone away for the weekend but Claire was gone to and he believed it to be his fault. He was just about to go to bed when a voice said from the doorway, "The kiss-what did it mean" Dan spun round and was stunned to see claire standing there. "It means I love you" Dan said "I know I shouldn't and.." But claire silenced him and moved forward. She kissed Dan as she thought about Peter and Josie. Dan was a little suprised but returned the kiss as claire began un buttoning his shirt... PREVIEW: SCOTT FACES HIS PAST DEMONS AND WILL PETER FINALLY TELL CLAIRE THE TRUTH?

The Phoenix Posted January 1, 2006 Report Posted January 1, 2006 !HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE! EPISODE TWELVE The sun rose over the gentle waves of the bay. It looked as if it was going to be a bright and sunny day-so bright that it would hide the darkness of the events which happened the night before. Claire had woke up early and quickly left house, leaving Dan snoring. She didn't know whether or not to leave again. Last night it seemed right but now she felt even dirtier than before. She decided that if she did leave then she would at least confront Peter first. Scott woke up on when someone banged on Irenes front door. He rolled off the sofa and unlocked it to find Morag stareing at him. "Its not a social call" She said, "You've been sent for" "Sent for by who?" Scott yawned "Your father-he wants you to visit him" Morag said sternly, 'Shall I call back and tell them there is no way you will visit" "No, I'll go" Scott said, "After all those years I spent inside because of supplying for him it be nice to gloat" "Very well-you should be there by one o clock sharp" Morag said, turning round and exiting the house, "And I suggest you are dressed by then" She shouted back. Scott looked in disbeleif-it was only eight and that was very early for him to get up. Peter looked up and thought he was dreaming when he saw Claire standing at the door. "I wanna know what the deal is with you and Josie" She said " I want the truth and I want it right now" "You remember the case" Peter said "The one involving the murder of someone Josie knew" "Yes" Claire said "The murder case-they found the body in a shallow grave" "Yes" Peter said "Well It was me-I put him there" "What" Claire said "You killed..." "Not on purpose" Peter said, "He was holding Josie hostage so I tried sneaking up behind him. But he-he knew I was there and dived on me trying to grab the gun." "And the gun went off" Claire said "So what you and josie hid the body! Why didn't you tell the police?" "Thats why I never told you" Peter shouted, "The police wouldn't of heard out Josie and I. He was setting Josie up all along to get revenge on her. She would of been sent down and I would of been dismissed" "Peter, This is serious" Claire said "You could of told me" "Josie wanted me to tell you. But I confess that i wasn't sure. I thought you may..." "Turn you in?" Claire said. There was a long silence before Peter asked, "What happens now?" Claire shook her head as the two stood staring at each other across the room. "Thanks for coming son" Gus said, "I won't keep you long" "Good" Scott said agressivly "What do you want" "I haven't been the best of fathers and well, I've got a fair bit of money in a account. Its perfectly legal don't worry and I want you to have it" Gus said "And what do you want in return?" Scott asked "Nothing" Gus said, "Its my way of finishing all ties with yous-you all deserve better than me" "Your right" Scott said, "But this money-however much it is-is the smallest amount you could do to apologise." PREVIEW: CLAIRE GETS SOME SHOCKING NEWS AND KENNY FINDS OUT ABOUT THE PHILLIPS NEW FORTUNE.

He walked slowly and quietly through the house until he saw Claire ducking down, sweeping up the mess of a dropped cup. "Is something wrong?" "No of course not I mean well..." Claire muttered. Peter saw a pregnancy test lying on the table and looked at it. "Your pregnant!" He said joyfully "We're going to have a baby!" "Yeah" Claire said "I wasn't sure if you'd be pleased" "I'm thrilled" Peter replied, "You sit down I'll get you some coffee. I can't beleive it, I'm going to be a dad!" Claire smiled weakly as in her mind she saw flashes of her night of passion with Dan. "Dad!" Kirsty shouted "Don't blank me" "Leave him" Danni said "No I want to know why he is linked to that slimeball Josh West" Kirsty said. Rhys however stormed past both his daughters and into the house. As he did so Danni saw her mother look out the window sadly. Callum had had no luck what so ever in finding a job. He thought he was at least lucky that Kenny hadn't reappeared yet but that happy thought soon ran out. "Heard your familys came into a bit of Money" Kenny said, emerging from the nearby bushland. "Living rough are you" Callum asked trying to sound braver than what he felt "You know me-Don't like all the happy household stuff. I thought you were the same but it seems you are setteling in quite happy with you new family" Kenny said, "Lets go for a walk" He grabbed Callums arm and pulled him along. "Relax mate, If you struggel I might have to get violent" Kenny said, "You know I live with a doctor I could get him to see to your mentality" Callum said in fury. Kenny stopped walking and pulled Callum so he was face to face with him. "I don't care about your doctors, your theories or anything else. I only want my money and now you have it-you can pay me back by lets say sunset tomorrow" "Its not my money its scotts" Callum said Kenny smiled and stroked callums face, "Think of it as a knife running across it" He said to a bewildered Callum "Your close to your brothers-you can get the money" Kennys face suddenly became more stern and he pushed Callum back "Or else, you may end up a little-sliced for time" Kenny walked off and Callum collapsed to the floor. He would either have to steal his brothers moey or come clean about everything. Neither was very appealing. "What was going on there" A voice said. Callum looked up and it was Ric.
