Andrew & Donna’s Flat

In April 1995, Donna Bishop moved in with her boyfriend Andrew Warren, an old flame she’d recently reunited with despite his history of violence towards her. The relationship wasn’t to last much longer however, with Andrew lashing out at Donna over her friendship with Rob Storey a little over a week later.

The real-life exterior location of Andrew’s flat is on the water’s edge in the Northern Beaches suburb of Newport, overlooking some of the many marinas towards the south-eastern end of Pittwater.

Whilst only used for a stock shot and a couple of exterior scenes, the location was used for the climactic final encounter between Donna and Andrew in Episode 1683, which was nominated for a prestigious AFI award.
