March Editorial
Welcome to March, and happy St David’ss Day to our Welsh visitors.
February has seen a revival for Back to the Bay. After months of very few updates, February saw the site updated on 25 out of 28 days, making it the most updated month in our site’ss history. Strange how it should come in the shortest month of the year.
It saw the launch of a whole host of new additions to our Reference section, including This Month Then and Scene Counts. This Month Then takes a look back at the storylines happening in Home and Away one, five and ten years ago, while Scene Counts looks at just how much each character is used in a particular week. February also saw the revelation of the ‘sMost Poplar Couple‘s, as voted by members of our Forum. Jack and Martha were crowned the eventual winners, but ironically also walked away with our ‘sLeast Popular Couple‘s crown.
So, what does March bring? Well, you only have just over a week left to enter our Scriptwriting Competition, which could see you walk away with a signed copy of a Home and Away script, a signed copy of Coral Drouyn’ss book ‘sBig Screen, Small Screen’s and numerous other goodies.
This month will see many of our Character Profiles for current UK and Australian characters brought up to date. They’sve been falling behind a little bit, and we aim to correct that, and make the site the most up to date resource for Home and Away information around.
Following on from our ‘sMost Popular Couple’s award, we may be revealing the results of ‘sMost Popular Villain’s later this month, depending on how quickly our little monkeys can type. Who will be crowned king or queen of mean? Just wait and see.
We’sll undoubtedly have many other exciting features to bring you over the month, we just haven’st quite had time to think of them. As usual, we’sll be adding a whole load more Scripts and Episode Summaries into the mix. Back to the Bay houses the largest collection of Home and Away episode summaries and scripts around, and we aim to keep building on that. If you want information on a particular episode, we’sre your best resource.
Did you know, our Message Board just got a complete revamp, and continues to be the largest and most popular place to discuss the show? Head over there now and start chatting with over 7000 members.
