Former Australian Idol winner Axle Whitehead has joined the cast of Home and Away.

The 28 year-old is set to play Liam Murphy, a bad-boy rocker.

“I jumped at the chance to audition for Home And Away, which is such a great place to learn and hone your skills.”

Whitehead will make his debut on the soap on March 5 (UK: March 19)
